And they have a lovely reception space that can cater to weddings of up to 150 people.

3. Old Outback Quarry, Alice Springs

Get married in the red earth and red dust of an old quarry mine in the middle of Australia. Well, in Alice Springs to be exact. The Outback Quarry has beautiful views over the East MacDonnell Ranges on one side and dramatic limestone and sandstone cliffs on the other. It is totally unique.

This venue does many different types of events and can hold up to 3000 people. And it is a great location for weddings. Wedding ceremonies generally take place overlooking the mountain range and dinner is out under the stars, although these are undercover areas as well. But it rarely rains in Alice Springs so a wedding reception at night, with the old quarry, lit up by lights and stars is a pretty perfect wedding in our opinion.
